Humane Swarm Removal in the Texas Hill Country
Safe for you. Safe for the bees.
When honey bees swarm, they’re simply looking for a new home — but that doesn’t mean your porch, fence, or mailbox should become it. At Sister Creek Hives, we offer humane, chemical-free swarm removal that protects pollinators and gives them a second chance in a managed hive.
We respond quickly, work respectfully, and relocate swarms to our apiary, where they can thrive in a healthy, chemical-free environment.
What’s a Swarm, Anyway?
A bee swarm is a temporary, tightly clustered group of honey bees — often thousands — gathered around a queen. Swarms can show up on:
Fences
Trees or shrubs
Sheds or patios
Mailboxes or vehicles
While they may look intimidating, swarming bees are generally not aggressive — they’re just in transition. Still, it’s best to call in a beekeeper to remove them safely.

When to Call
Call us immediately if you see a bee cluster forming or hanging around your property. The sooner we can respond, the more likely we can remove the swarm before they move inside walls, roofs, or structures.
We do not perform structural removals — if bees are inside a wall or attic, we’re happy to recommend a trusted cut-out specialist.
What to Expect
We’ll ask a few quick questions and may request a photo or video.
If it’s a true swarm (not a wasp nest or hive cut-out), we’ll schedule a removal ASAP.
Swarms are collected by hand or using a bee box, always with care and respect.
Once safely relocated, the bees are integrated into our apiary for ongoing stewardship.
